Review of In the Loop (2009) by Brittany R — 09 May 2011
A very interesting British satire of the government. This black comedy is a spin-off of the BBC sitcom The Thick of It, starring a zany cast in a movie that is a mix of The Office and Wag the Dog.
The movie is a bit slow to start, but eventually it takes off and becomes very rewarding. It has some amazing dialogue, but not everyone will get the humour. It's a British film that is very sublime and layered with its characters, but it can be funny once you get the humour.
