Not in the least bit cinematic and if it wasnt for the relentless pace, brilliant timing, and deliverance of the humour then the lack of structure and protagonist would really have grated on me.
I watched this with an intermission and had a shower and the charm might not have survived a full 1hr 40 mins otherwise. Not seen the thick of it but I imagine its just really one long episode. A good parody of behind the scenes workings of governments though.
