Review of In the Loop (2009) by Leonie P — 17 Apr 2012
I was thoroughly impressed. The dialogue is witty, snappy and original. This is one of those movies where its hard to pic sides on characters. The lead in this movie is a total prick, but you kinda like him.
His insults are shocking, absurd and most of all funny. The jest of this movie is to show how shitty politics work nowadays. It isn't about modern war its about foreign relations between the U.S. and Great Britain.
I simply loved this movie. Its an arthouse comedy. That means its more like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind rather than the Hangover. A must see.
