Review of In the Bedroom (2001) by Debbie P — 27 Jan 2007
Just to set your mind at ease, the title refers to lobster fishing. This movie is one that will haunt you long after you have finished watching it. It is subtle, unflinching, and beautiful. This one grew on me more after I saw it a couple of times. Spacek and Wilkinson give perfect performances, and the questions asked all the way through the last scene have the potential of altering your life and probing your deepest, most personal desires, feelings and rages.
