Every now and then a movie comes along out of nowhere and just blows you away, leaving you feeling triumphant, exultant, maybe a little sad but ultimately grateful to be alive. "In Search of A Midnight Kiss" is one of those sweet, endearing little movies that has everything - humour, pathos, wit, great acting, great visuals.
Made in black & white, the film is about two lonely people coming together in LA on New Year's Eve. Yes, it is a love story but it is done with compassion, with honesty and with intelligence. A totally refreshing cinematic experience that more people ought to enjoy.
