In Bruges is an action comedy where two hitmen are hiding in Bruges, Belgium after a hit. The story slowly unfolds with nuance as the hitmen explore the high and low culture of Bruges. The movie can be seen as an allegory to our desire for control in life and death of our own lives and the lives of others and the principles that we are willing to bend and keep for that control.
