Collin Ferrel and his friend are hitmen's. Collin kills a priest but then also kill s a little boy by accident. This is his first "hit". They are sent to Bruges by this boss to hideout and give Collin one last good memory before his partner kills him. However, as his partner is about to kill him, Collin also pulls a gun out and is about to commit suicide. His partner then feels bad and saves him and gives him some money to get out of there and hide forever.

His partner calls his boss Harry who comes to Bruges to kill him for "honor". However, Collin gets arrested on the train and send back to Bruges.

In the final climax sequence, Harry and the partner go up the bell tower and the partner decides not to fight anymore. Harry feels bad and decides not to kill him, but shoots him in the leg instead. As they are going down the bell tower, the skinhead boyfriend who Collin blinded runs up to tell them Collin in back in town. After which Harry scuffles with the partner and shoots him in the neck. The partner drags himself back up the bell tower intending on shooting Harry. However, there is too much fog, so he jumps from the belltower to warn Collin that Harry is coming.

There's a chase sequence that ends in Collin getting shot and ultimately Harry shoots through Collin and blows the midgets head off. Because the midget was dressed as a boy, Harry believes he killed a little boy and kills himself. The movie ends with Colin getting medical attention in an ambulance. It is unclear wether he survives.
