This is one of the best buddy criminal movies I've ever seen. They go about their naughty ways playing with weapons and interjecting some witty banter here and there that's actually intelligent and pretty funny.

Then there's the sacrifice. Oh my what an unforgettable sacrifice! I never expected to be moved like that in a buddy crime movie. It's very rare to see a movie of this genre that manages to set itself apart from all the others and In Bruges succeeds.
