Review of In & Out (1997) by Jodi R — 19 May 2007
I was happy to find this VHS at the flea market for only $1.50, because I heard it was a good gay movie. It's definitely good for a laugh! I found the main character, Howard, a little flat, but he's still very likable. All the characters are. Howard's "realization" that he was gay was a little bumpy, though.
The kiss between Howard and Tom Selleck's character, Peter, was definitely one of the highlights of the movie. People who can put up with a little goofiness will probably get a laugh out of this movie, but it has some gay stereotypes that might turn people off.
