Review of Impostor (2001) by Mikael K — 01 Jan 2011
Garry Sinise stars in a movie he has produced himself. The script is based on a Philip K. Dick short story, and the female lead role is carried by Madeleine Stowe. All the ingredients are there for a great hardcore science fiction thriller, but something is really off with this one.
Sinise has rarely acted so poorly, the dialog is completely hideous and the film, produced in 2000, looks like it's been made at least 10 years earlier. A small part of sci-fi magic is contained within the plot structure, but it's so very sad to see such great potential completely wasted.
