Review of Imagine: John Lennon (1988) by Ewan G — 25 Aug 2009
Documentary following John Lennon from his Beatles days right up until his death.
At the time this was a very good film but the Beatles documentary in the 90's I felt was a lot more revealing. However, the bits after the split are still excellent especially Lennon's emotions whilst recording.
I'm still unsure whether the Bagism stuff, etc was a tongue in cheek dig at the press or Lennon being a pretentious prick.
