Review of I'm Not There (2007) by Raja N — 15 Oct 2009
Exeptionnally weird and unique. The different sides of Dylan were a very good idea for this cinematographic achievement. However, I really think the film dragged too much and was very long. I may get remarks for this, but I really think that Cate's performance was overrated.
Don't get me wrong, no woman could have played the role better than her, but it still didn't fit well because I was always seein Blanchett and not her caracter. The best performance hence was left for Marcus Carl Franklin, who did an amazing job portraying young Dylan.
The ideas in the whole movie were stunning, but it's really only to be enjoyed by cinephiles.
