Review of I'm Not There (2007) by Anh H — 15 May 2014
I didn't even know this was a movie about Bob Dylan til I read the reviews. I just picked this up from a dvd store without any knowing what this movie is about. Sure it was original, but there's no structure to the story that it makes it so darn difficult for a non-Dylan-follower to understand.
I guess it was as abstract as Bob Dylan's music and journey of life. So yeah, I just don't get it. A beautifully shot movie, but it makes little sense to me, guess I'm not high enough to get all the deep shit they were pondering about.
Surely I'm not watching this for the second time.
