Review of I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006) by Max D — 18 Jul 2010
This movie was pretty dang interesting, I don't usually see many foreign films but this one kept my attention mostly cause of the two main characters Young-goon who thinks she's a cyborg, and II-sun a young kleptomaniac who seems to be able to steal whatever he wants not just items but things like a person's sympathy.
There's a few other interesting characters who grab your attention mostly of their odd "conditions". Though mostly Young-goon and II-sun take the show, there's plenty of humorous scenes and I can't help but feel there's some subtle other thing about the movie that really caught my attention.
The effects are interesting and I think kind of fun to look at mostly Young-goon's Android hallucinations (The lights on her toes, her imaginary killing spree, etc.). I can't say too much else about this movie the plot was pretty simple and it was mostly about the characters who did an excellent job holding my interest and it made the very charming scenes more charming.
