Review of I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006) by Jenna G — 23 May 2010
FIrst of all, it's a bit ridiculous that there's a 3rd movie in the series. When they heard Jennifer Love Hewitt wasn't in it they shouldn't have made this movie at all..
The first movie was great, the sequel not that great, but also really good, but this one?! It's.. just weird.
It barely follows the original story and the intro is very, very weak.
The killer seems to be some zombie, we know nothing of him, and in the end there's not even an explanation for what he did. That's the least they could do, right? As a watcher I found it an unsatisfying ending.
Beside that some parts are extremely unrealistic.
Also, the ending is way too easy.
Though there are some good things in it too. The story is good, a group of teenagers followed by their secret (and I wanted to see how the killer knew their secret! It could have been really better..).
Beside that, most of the acting isn't bad at all. Especially Brooke Nevin did good.
And of course, Ben Easter (Lance) is just yummy to watch haha! :).
It absolutely has its moment, but it's still is a flop. Could have been better, but messed up.
I'll be waiting for "I'll never forget what you did last summer".
NOT!
