Review of I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006) by Ken T — 29 May 2009
What do I expect from a straight-to-DVD movie? Nothing much! But if you're intending to make a horror movie, at least attempt to horrify us.
This is some of the most uninspired death scenes ever (there's one sort of neat one, but that's at the end when the bad guy gets it).
It's puzzling in that there were many opportunities for the killer to kill his victims but he lets them go, only to chase after them again 30 minutes later.
The director does some camera tricks that he thought would intensify the slasher scenes, but it just came out annoying and confusing.
And nope, I still haven't seen all of the first movie!
