Review of Il Divo (2008) by Michael D — 16 Dec 2011
Between 2.5 and 3. This movie, with its combination of hard music that makes you feel sometimes in a modern opera (even an "opereta" or "opera bufa") or a videoclip, results in a mix of thriller and satire about one of the most controverting, enigmatic, full of secrets politicians of recent Italian history.
An acute reflection about power (mainly by the sentences expressed by the character of Andreotti), although hard to follow if you don´t have a previous knowledge of the complex Italian panorama, and a little dense.
