Review of Ikiru (1952) by Alexander S — 14 Jul 2010
Another Kurosawa masterpiece that is most probably his most touching and sensitive movie ever. It is the type of film that causes you to reflect upon your own life and wonder how you can make it better.
A truly wonderful film that is so profound that it lingers in your thoughts way past its ending. To me, it is now right up there with Seven Samurai and Rashomon as my favorite Akira Kurosawa movies. What an achievement!
