Review of Ikiru (1952) by Marissa S — 25 Oct 2007
This movie made me cry a lot. In a good way. Mostly. I love this actor. He's definitely the best part of Drunken Angel, my favorite Kurosawa movie. Ikiru is about the ordinary heroism of an everyday person who realizes what's important after years of running in place.
This is exactly the kind of courage I hope to keep close to me as I grow up.
