Review of Ikiru (1952) by Riccardo P — 16 Nov 2007
This is one of the great movies by akira kurosawa. it's a very rich movie: it's about living a full life before time is up, it's about loneliness and messup up family relations, it's about parasitic bureaucrats who are unfailingly lazy and yet are always ready to claim credit for someone else's work.
it's as good as de sica' umberto d.
