I have seen very few movies that I can truly say will change your life, but this is one of those select few. When a man knows that his time has come, what will he choose to do? Remarkable performances by all of the cast and the keen directing eye of Japan's finest auteur make for a heartwrenching, but illuminating look at the nature of death and also, the importance of even the smallest actions we take in life.
