Review of Ikiru (1952) by Christopher P — 31 Jan 2011
Considered by some to be Kurosawa's best. I'm not sure if it's my very favorite, but it is high on the list, and I have seen most of them. Ikiru is possibly his most profound film, however, and a poignant portrait of the life and legacy of a misunderstood man.
