Review of Ikiru (1952) by Wagner N — 14 Jun 2011
It's a very existential piece, a search for what means "living". It's also a treatise on public employment and how apathy is maintained in a swirl that sucks all productivity and meaningful work.
I was cracking up all the time... =P More than that, it's a hallmark on fighting the system from within the system. The more I watch Kurosawa, the more I think "Seven Samurai", a very good movie, was his less impressive work.
