Whores don?t get a second chance.

A group of strangers are stranded at a motel when a strange storm ravages the countryside wiping out the road on both sides of the motel. When the strangers start eerily getting killed, each stranger becomes a suspect; however, each stranger seems to have something in common. Does that eliminate the strangers from suspicion and point to a third party being responsible for the murders or does the likenesses of the strangers mean that the murders and encounter was preconceived?

?The question is whether to convict the body or the mind.?

James Mangold, director of Cop Land; Girl, Interrupted; Walk the Line; and 3:10 to Yuma (2007), delivers Identity. The storyline for this picture is wonderfully intricate and well delivered. The plot contains fantastic depth and well delivered character development. The soundtrack was perfectly selected and the scenery was perfect for the genre. The cast was outstanding and includes John Cusack, Ray Liotta, Amanda Peete, Alfred Molina, Clea Duvall, Jake Busey, and Rebecca DeMornay.

?When I was going up the stairs I met a man who wasn?t there. He wasn?t there again today. I wish, I wish he?d go away.?

Identity is a film I have always adored and enjoy watching every chance I get. This film is delivered so well and the premise of the picture is mind bending. I would compare this film to such smart pictures as Memento, Seven, and Unusual Suspects. While this film initially appears to be a horror picture, it quickly evolves into a suspense thriller. This is a must see picture that is worth your time.

?What happened at the motel??
