Whoa. And critics call Hostel and Saw "torture porn"? I think something got lost in translation; if they've seen this film then they should shut their traps, because the character-driven plot is the main attraction in this film, as it should be in any film that involves torture or s&m.
A blend of gang warfare, S&M, torture, sex, murder, rape, and martial arts centered around a demented childlike killer that only Miike could make entertaining.
You won't be seeing a botched American remake of this anytime soon, thank God.
