Review of Ichi the Killer (2001) by Sb S — 12 Jan 2009
The most conceptual disturbing, graphic styles of bloody violent film i've ever seen to be honest this tops them all!, the actor tandanobu ashano gives a soild unforgettable, unregretable perfromance from an villian as a grade a japanese style of heath ledger's version of the joker in the dark knight, legendary [violent]director takashi miike style of infamous direction portraying the graphic violence throughout the film, including the distrubing sexual content [including an unrelenting rape scene that was shocking enough] and glimpses of visual imagery, the film is the realist hong kong movie ever made! giving insipration to directors like quentin tarantino, and eli roth! be forewarn people that this film has a soild superb story that is amazing yet over the top bloody graphic violent throughout, with disguisting distrubing content in the film, but for great reason and it's for strong stomachs only , so, if you can deal with it.
.. watch it! if not ... then you're not as strong as I think you are!
