Review of I Walked with a Zombie (1943) by Paul N — 03 Mar 2012
A rehash of the Charlotte Bronte classic "Jean Eyre", this eerie film has few but really creepy sequences: the crying and first meeting of the heroine with her patient, the constant pounding of the voodoo drums in the distance at night, the walk through the sugar cane field under the eerie moonlight.
.. While I expected more horror moments from this film, it is definitely worth a watch.
