Review of I Served the King of England (2007) by Kim W — 19 Sep 2008
Unique plot devices kept the film moving forward, but it was still paced too slow. I was actually annoyed by the excessive nudity that took away from the story, because in this case it didn't help develop the story.
There are far better films about this time period with better characters. I enjoyed the coin and mirror motifs most. Julia Jentsch was definitely the best element of the film; she is swiftly becoming my favorite German actess.
