Review of I Feel Pretty (2018) by Jill T — 05 May 2018
I found this movie funny, surprisingly heartwarming, and moving. I'm not sure where the poor reviews are coming from. As a woman, my takeaway was that real beauty comes from self confidence, kindness, and honesty.
The pointed jokes at current beauty standards were on point and I enjoy the fact that Amy is never afraid to poke fun at herself. Women are human and perfection is too often expected of us.
