Review of I, Daniel Blake (2016) by Emma S — 10 Jul 2017
A film that, apart from proper acting and cinematography, is nothing more than a virtue signal sensitive to the cause of those who suffocate in bureaucracy (a noble cause, for it is truly horrifying) in an ever more state-dependent and entitled Europe told from the eyes of rather disagreeable characters who choose the route of noncompliance, self-pity, rudeness and vandalism to filling out paperwork.
