An understated indictment of the English Welfare system. Bureaucracy at it's worst, not to serve the people but to wear them out and kill them. Dave Johns as Daniel Blake comes off as your favourite uncle, warm, caring and funny.
Ken Loach the director is 80 years old. WOW.
