An exercise in mood, this film showcases Oz Perkins' visionary style, all the while leaving many to wonder what exactly we just watched.

Though not as coherent as the director's debut film, "I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives in the House" nonetheless is a very interesting take on death and what lies beyond it.

Ruth Wilson's performance could make or break this film, and luckily she pulls through to create a character whose intentions you're never quite sure of, steering the movie's unease and tone.
