Review of I Am Love (2010) by James C — 13 Apr 2010
Ignore the synopses, comments, reviews. This is not a story. It is a sensual experience, an encomium of phenomena that spark love and infuse life with meaning. At the same time, it is conceptual, abstract, mythically symbolic in regard to its heroine's lack of identity and imminent recovery of her worldedness - perhaps redolent of Antigone.
I have not been moved by a work of art so profoundly and at length since last put through the mill by Bergman.
