Review of I Am Love (2010) by Tom G — 23 Sep 2010
I realize that as the Patriarchy, I'm on thin ice dissing the "rich white women need to cheat on their good-naturedly boring husbands with swarthy Poors!" genre, because what would I know about how hard it is to be a rich white woman, right? But if they didn't want me to see this movie, they should have called it "Not For Poors, Fellows, Or People Who Have Seen Movies Previously In Which The Sensuousness Of Food Is Compared To Sex," instead of "Eat Me Love" or whatever it is called.
I mean, there is one very good scene and a little character motif that is hard not to appreciate the nuance of, but as far as Tilda Swinton movies go, that just puts it on a par with Constantine.
