Review of I Am Love (2010) by Jareth S — 08 Feb 2011
A well-made and slow-moving film with good performances (particularly by Tilda Swinton) which discards its subtlety when it unfortunately collapses into that obnoxious 'King Vidor mode' in the last act.
With its Italian aristocratic family, reviews would undoubtedly draw connections to Visconti's masterpiece The Leopard, which is still a much better Italian film.
