Director Luca Guadagnino, composer John Adams (one of my very favorites), cinematographer Yorick Le Saux and production designer Francesca Balestra Di Mottola have put together one of the most formally sensual, romantic movies ever (Scorsese's "Age of Innocence" is another that comes to mind, along with films by folks like Visconti, Douglas Sirk, Max Ophuls, etc.
). Tilda Swinton's passionate performance is the emotional core. Soars. Loved it.
