Great, heartwarming ending that will probably surprise you! A boy escapes from a Bulgarian prison camp with a letter voiced by an anonymous narrator in the film instructing him to get to Denmark. Despite Caviezel's large mug on the movie poster, he doesn't get a lot of screen time.
I like the directing by Feig. Makes me want to read the book by Anne Holm called "North to Freedom".
