David must escape a forced labor camp in 1952-post-WWII Bulgaria. Then, he must travel north to Denmark, where mysterious contacts will provide for his safety. Along the way, David must also face his fears, learn to smile, and discover how to trust people. Your heart will ache as David makes his way northward.
On a spiritual note, this movie opens the eyes of all us who work with studentsâ??and adults tooâ??who seem hard and determined to see the dark side of life.
