This was actually a surprisingly good horror movie. Aside from the whole deaf/mute thing, I can't say it's the most creative horror movie out there, but it was rather entertaining to watch. I really like that there's very little setup or plot, and once the action starts, it doesn't stop.
It's a pretty relentless movie, and I was honestly anxious the entire time watching it. I'm also glad the protagonist, Maddie, was reasonably smart, so I was rooting for her the entire time. Overall, if you like a good, mindless horror movie, definitely check this one out.
