Review of Husbands and Wives (1992) by Bob V — 17 Jun 2011
Magnificent portrait of two marriages going in different directions. Allen resists the happy ending (as he does more & more often as his career progresses) in favour of a very realistic, but almost gut-wrenching in its banal calmness, resolution.
Superb acting by all major parts!
