Review of Husbands and Wives (1992) by Ivan M — 01 May 2012
A sharply written, immensely well acted meditation on marriage, divorce and yes, faithfulness. The same Woody themes in a different Woody setting. And that means all the females in the film are annoying and/or emotionally unstable.
It is well acted though, as most of his films are. In fact, Juliette Lewis gives the best performance of her career here. Considering her extensive filmography, that's saying something.
