Review of Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) by Louise R — 23 Apr 2016
Just home from watching this during a sold out session (lucky we booked). Best movie I have seen for ages. NZ movies are just getting better and better thanks to the people who create and star in ones like this.
I love our kiwi humour and this is a great tribute to Barry Crump and the books we grew up with. Too many great moments to single out any and my 12 year old son couldn't stop talking about this movie on the way home.
Psycho Sam was his favourite. A very funny movie but at times quite sad as well. Loved the scenery , the story line, the characters and the soundtrack! Just basically loved it.
