Hunt for the Wilderpeople was a blast - I'm so glad that I caught up with this one. With charmingly flawed characters caught up in an imaginative plot, audiences become emotionally invested very quickly.
Its relentless (though controlled) pace and cinematography were two of its big strengths and the comedy really worked. Hunt For The Wilderpeople proved to be a very real, poignant film with actors on their A-game.
Definitely worthy of a 4-star rating.
