The Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a fantastic movie. Charming, funny and surprisingly beautiful. The direction of the movie and cinematography is very unique and the characters feel grounded and well written.
Sam Neill is definitely a standout, as were the action scenes. The story rides a fine line between believability and enjoyability, and whilst in some instances some scenes do feel ridiculous, it's the characters and the magnificent New Zealand scenery which keep you wanting more.
