Review of Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) by Grahame W — 03 Jul 2016
Hunt for the Wilderpeople is tame in its humor but still hilariously funny. Sometimes a lack of vulgarity is good when it comes to comedies, and I would expect this from Australian filmmakers. Watching Neil in a film such as this is a breath of fresh air.
His role as the gruff mountain man who succumbs to fatherly emotions toward an orphan boy is superb. I've never seen him in a role like this. This is the perfect film for families.
