Review of Humpday (2009) by Ki-Ger J — 28 Jul 2009
This is officially a weird and very talk-intensive movie - pretty much leaving solutions and thoughts up to the audience. During those talks and events - covering only a couple of days really - we do get to know the characters rather well, both guys and the wife at least, while the others involved simply seem to want to have fun.
This is, of course, a welcome distraction to the rather deep conversations two ex-college buddies are having - one who has yet to finish one project of his and settle somewhere, anywhere, while the other has married and is trying to start a family.
However, during various discussions between those three, a variety of unexpected secrets emerge and the ending is rather surprising, too. To find out in what way - you will have to go and see for yourself.
It is worth it.
