Review of How I Ended This Summer (2010) by Daisy M — 17 Apr 2011
How I ended this summer was a Russian psychological drama about two meteorologists, Sergei, and Pavel, who were stuck on an isolated island in the Artic polar station for a regular season work and since it was just the two of them , they had to deal with each other, and then one day an information came in and that changed everything.
Cinematography it was very slow pacing, with long shots and the wild nature scenes was breathtaking. The plot was very simple and the development happened in a continuous visual story telling, with less dialogues and pure acting and all these happened by just 2 characters.
This is a movie that one must appreciate for what it is if that is the case, I highly recommend it.
