Review of How Green Was My Valley (1941) by Jason M — 27 Sep 2008
A wonderful example of Hollywood filmmaking of the classic forties. A moving story of a coal mining family struggling to survive hardship put upon them by the mine's owners. A great example of the protestant work ethic and the formation of unions.
Child star Roddy McDowall steals the show.
