Review of House on Haunted Hill (1959) by Don S — 03 Feb 2012
House On Haunted Hill delivers typical horror genre. It has got praiseworthy plot and directed with dedication by William Castle. The opening introduction by Elisha Cook, about the House is (my God) the most-horrifying opening scene from any horror film that I have seen.
Vincent Price is fabulously worth watching. The film is notable for encouraging movies like 'Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho', 'The Sadist' to be made, after being impressed with low-budget finances upon the film, and the result being box-office hit.
