Uwe Boll's first of many video game cum film adaptations, and arguably his best one to date, if only that was saying something. House of the Dead has little to do with its namesake, apart from that there are some zombies in it that get shot a lot.
Laughable effects, direction, acting, and storytelling combine to make this film entertaining for all the wrong reasons. Prochnov's classic line "what do you think I'm trying to do, you fucking moron?" is the comedy highlight of a disatrous film.
